Hello….
I am Jules, chief photographer at Rockrose Photography. I specialise in documentary-style wedding photography and portraiture. I have a love of Landscape photography and always try to encourage people to incorporate the natural beauty of Devon into their wedding or portrait session.
I am based on the edge of Dartmoor which is deep in the Devonshire countryside and I feel very lucky to live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country and have a job that I LOVE. When I am not hard at work shooting weddings and portraits, I can be found hanging out with my family, riding on Dartmoor or wild swimming in the beautiful rivers and seas.
MY STORY
Here is a little bit about my work history minus the obligatory, I like cycling, reading and travelling – which I do!
I have a degree in Editorial Photography from Brighton University and have been working locally and nationally for the last fifteen years, submitting work for magazines, local press, and personal exhibitions.
Rockrose photography was created fourteen years ago after moving back to Devon with babe number one on the way. Since then it has gone from strength to strength and we continue to grow as a business.
I mostly cover Devon and Cornwall but am willing to travel further afield to any gorgeous far flung destination if need be!
FAVOURITE PLACES
The Greek islands, any! A beautiful place called home, Dartmoor, My family, if they can be described as a place! My garden in spring and summertime. The Ocean, which is north and south in Devon and stunning on both. The mountains in far north Scotland, when I get the chance!
