Loving the summer vibes of the gorgeous wedding of Anna and Chris at The Horn of Plenty near Tavistock. The bride and groom normally reside in Austin, Texas so it was a real meeting of the families and a huge family affair.
Chris is a local and all the Devon family members threw themselves into party time with gusto and made all the brides side of the family feel really welcome. Such a special meeting for the parents as well. They even brought the family dog all the way over from Texas …yes the bride had her dog flown in from Texas in a crate…how bonkers is that! Love it!
The Horn of Plenty is a gorgeous boutique country house hotel and wedding venue that sits in the Devonshire countryside serenely looking out over the Tamar valley. You wont find a more serene spot to be on a summers day.
Plus the food is something else …I am always so excited when I get booked for this stunning venue. Firstly for the views and secondly for the food…its arguably the best wedding food I have ever tasted. Anna and Chris are really into food so this was a big part of their decision when choosing a wedding venue. They hit the food jackpot at this gorgeous venue.
The glorious cake was made by the very talented private chef and local cake maker Harriet At Boo To A Goose

This wedding was all about family and friends getting to know each other over lawn games and drinks and canapés they even had a vintage ice-cream van visit mid afternoon, such a lovely touch.
