Transatlantic Love, castles and boats for this Dartmouth engagement shoot//A most romantic engagement on the south Devon coast

If I could sum up this gorgeous couple and shoot that we had yesterday in a few short words – it would be:

Rule breakers- HELL yeah!! Adventurers and big time romantics….I LOVED THIS SHOOT so much!

We ran around on the beach at Dartmouth castle. climbed rocks and dipped toes in the ocean. These two lovebirds are sea lovers as am I so I was stoked to be booked to photograph their engagement at Dartmouth. Kayla comes from Florida and Sam from Exmouth so we went for a castle and history for Kayla and boats for Sam and they both love the coast – so the little beach was a bonus!
The beach shots are from the little cove next Dartmouth castle- which just happened to be at low tide as we met up, plus the weather held of so we were super lucky! I am guessing Sam and Kayla just attract good luck:)

Kayla and Sam are utterly gorgeous and have a life of travel and adventure that some of us can only dream of – He works onboard a ship and travels the world and she works onboard the airlines and travels the world for work. Their stints of work see them apart for unto 10 weeks at a time- so the time they are together is intensely romantic and special, which came across in the photos in such a lovely way. They had such fun at this little corner of Devon jumping around on the beach and the rocks.
