Engagement shoots are beginning to get more popular which I love and I have started adding them as a freebie to my larger wedding packages. It makes complete sense.
It is such a great way to break the ice with clients and get used to being in front of the camera ….which can be a daunting thought! A little practice makes perfect.
We met in Topsham on one of the rainiest miserable May days so far and had a pre wedding meet/chat in the lovely Passage house inn at Topsham. We waited in hope that the rain would clear!
And it did…ye ha! So we belted over to the other side of the exe estuary to get the best of the sunset and have the very picturesque topsham in the background. We were not disappointed, the sun peeked through the storm clouds and we had the glorious sunset and hues of orange, reds and blues.
These guys were pretty relaxed about going for a gander with me and my cameras. Well maybe just a tad nervous:) but by the end they were pros. It was lovely and quiet by the estuary, this really helps for engagement shoots, an audience gawping is never very relaxing when your having your photo taken.
